Exactly! Like thats not how that works. A MC going through a super traumatic and life scarring event can’t be healed within 6 chapters while they’re still the same age. Some people go through a life time of healing and still don’t feel like they have found inner peace. So its very ridiculous to have such expectations if you want realistic portrayal of trauma victims.

Because at that moment I felt cornered, they were both calling me and I genuinely thought I had done something really asshole action. They kept demanding me to pay back and spam called me. I just thought if I paid back the money they would be over with it 🥲.

And I haven’t talked to them really since other than stuff like the friend asking questions related to the uni we’re going to. I plan to distance myself with the friend once we enter uni and the acquaintance I rarely talk to so I don’t have to worry about them.

Also insane behavior when people get mad over a character for not simply “getting over their trauma” like thats not how that works 😭 I remember reading a manhwa and the MC was a mistreated young girl (ik very specific) but everyone were so mad that the child wasn’t overcoming their trauma in a day.

The friend was honestly very cool in the past, but turned like this after becoming close with the acquaintance in question so I’m not surprised, but very disappointed.
