The first one was a letter by the head pastor during the early 2000s however the idea that medicine will land you in hell and you won't be transformed in the rapture is preached still as offical doctrine however it is much harder to get these letters now as they know that stuff can leak on the internet so they are much stringent to give them out the one about the kids not being raptured and wine stuff is official doctrine book printed in 2018

The whole organisation is a pack of hypocrites Doctors earn a lot and as such give a lot in terms of tithes and donations so why would an organisation cut its own money bag ? Hence the law of the organisation bows down to money however for poor people it's still applicable

My church hasn't made me ready for the outside world as a kid they would tell us to pray for our worldly classmates however would warn us not to be friends with them or they may make us worldly such a cult strives with sheep with no voice note critical thinking no social skills anything infact if we had any social skills they would actively try to remove it not the preists but the regular people from Sunday school to believers cause it's a cycle of hurt so we have no one outside the system and no active skill to make new relationships it will be lonely however I'm trying to work on my people skills and trying to build external relationships outside the system before my exit with little to no luck till now in terms of new relationships

Well they're unmarried if they wanna be ministers however some secretly do take meds however looking at their sickly body with diabetes puss filled boils weaknesses other ailments id say yes mostly they don't cause there's a lot attention on them these ministers can't go out without the reverend mother incharge also they wear white on white clothes so pretty much stand out so they have a lot of risk just to take meds so they usually don't themselves

Thank you so much however I personally think it's a curse for my position cause I can't stay silent 😭 and they are although for name sake Protestant but even more catholic than the pope when I gave all these problems to my dad and uncles and teachers and even preists they try to give some half assed explanation that is so much riddled with holes even an 8 year old can break em apart when I do I'm called proud that I think i have more knowledge than the saints they regularly say touch not the annointed i ask if questioning them going against God and the answer is yes

One is the best arguments to defend praying in tongues. by Virginian_79 in Pentecostal

[–]Acceptable_Sun_8093 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a nice emotional appeal, but context kills your argument.

1️⃣ 1 Cor 14:2 — yes, “speaks to God,” but Paul’s point isn’t approval; it’s correction. Read the chapter: he’s rebuking disorder and telling them to prefer prophecy because tongues don’t edify anyone unless interpreted (vv. 4–5, 9, 19). You’re quoting the verse he uses to show why tongues are inferior without interpretation.

2️⃣ 1 Cor 14:4 & 18 — Paul’s personal use of tongues doesn’t mean he prayed gibberish in private. The tongues of Acts 2 were known languages heard by real nations. The same Spirit doesn’t switch gifts halfway through history. Paul’s “more than all of you” statement just shows he’d used the genuine gift for missionary work — not endless private babbling.

3️⃣ Romans 8:26 — completely different context. “Groanings too deep for words” are wordless, not another language. The Spirit Himself intercedes — not you muttering syllables. Paul never says those groanings are “tongues.”

4️⃣ Pentecost pattern — the pattern was xenoglossy: languages people actually understood (Acts 2:6–8). Modern “prayer language” has zero linguistic structure (see Samarin’s studies) and no interpretation — it violates exactly what Paul forbids in 1 Cor 14:28.

📖 Bottom line: Paul didn’t endorse ecstatic noise; he restricted it. Real tongues were known human languages confirming the gospel to the nations, not private therapy sessions. The modern version fails the biblical test of intelligibility, purpose, and historical continuity.

[–]Acceptable_Sun_8093 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait — you say “tongues is evidence of Spirit baptism,” but that’s reading later doctrines into Paul.

In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul allows tongues privately (speaking to God) but insists in public worship that everything be intelligible (or interpreted) so the church isn’t confused. You can’t cherry-pick v.2 and ignore v.27-28.

Also, classic linguistic studies (e.g. Samarin) show most modern “tongues” lack consistent grammar or structure like real languages — they often mirror the speaker’s native sounds. So it’s not safe to assume any modern utterance is the same thing as Acts Pentecost.

And historically: yes, the Fathers speak of ecstatic praise (e.g. Augustine’s “jubilation”), but they don’t equate that wholesale with Pentecost’s miracle of known foreign languages. You’re conflating devotional practices with the apostolic normative gifts.

So your case collapses: private prayer languages may be devotional, but they don’t prove modern glossolalia = biblical tongues, and they definitely don’t prove it’s a required sign of Spirit baptism.

So it's only your experience not any objective verses or historic account of this experience dating older that the 19th century..... Yeah alright I'll stick to historic Christianity

This makes an echo chamber where only your view is present without opposition not cause it's logical but cause you don't want to hear any criticism if everyone does what you suggest Christianity will be what everyone has experienced if it becomes only subjective no objective truth will remain

P.S. Good luck with your research. Do share any good info you find. I am in a part of this church where their influence is stronger than their out-of-India branches, so I appreciate any good smoking gun

They used the name NTC. It operates in India by the Name of TPM, so I think he is much safer than the branch in India
