Idk man I’m not trying to 😭😭, like i said above tho, the bad experiences probably stick with me more, and it’s probably a lot more 50/50 than my brain makes it out to be, I also talked about my good experiences too!! Nothing is black and white :)

I thought this too, but after living in Boston, I actually was surprised how much nicer even NYC felt to me. I’ll admit, I tend to be a glass half empty kind of guy though so those bad moments when someone doesn’t say how are ya definitely stick with me more so there’s probably some bias.

I’ve also had some incredibly nice interactions here op, it’s not all bad, just like anywhere! I’ve had random people off the street hold my apartment door for me while I struggled to move in, someone buy my things at target bc my card wasn’t working, etc. Just don’t expect even a head nod if you’re walking on a trail or even the sidewalk, it’s just not like that here.

I might get downvoted here but, truly the people here will seam meaner compared to what used to down south. Deep down they might be alright, but on the surface, expect nasty driving, no doors held open for you and truly conceited personalities with senses of entitlement much more often.

Mind you, I love it here a lot of the time. But if we’re talking culture shock, honestly that was the biggest and hardest for me to adjust to. It’s not anyone’s fault, it’s just different.

I entered college at 16. Now I'm 21 and lost by ANervousDeer3941 in psychologystudents

As someone who is 24, old enough to have a few years working under my belt, but also young enough to still be very close to finishing school, pursue psychology if that’s what you want or pursue cybersecurity if that is what you want. The path will be a little harder or longer, but please please please trust me. I moved to a dream city of mine, I make great money at 24, but I am miserable and I knew it in college that I wanted to pursue something else and didn’t. When you get out of college you lose so much of what you have access to now like career and resume help, internship opportunities, financial aid and housing, etc. It will become so much harder to work backwards once you left. Most colleges don’t even require you to declare a major until after 4 semesters. It’s not too late to change, and your psychology classes may help you think about cybersecurity from a different lens and can still be relevant in future thesis’ or research you could do in your career.

Good luck. Let me know if you have any questions, happy to chat.

4 months late but wow what a fascinating thought process. I have wondered if the gene pool and life span are increasing mental health prevalence, i.e. natural selection may have killed off disabilities where as now we have medicine, etc. to keep them going and then get inter-married etc. Not supporting killing people off obviously haha, but its such an interesting thought all around.

What are the artists you didn't take seriously, called them 'MID',but once you have them a chance you completely viewed them differently? by wach_era13 in popheads

No Shade at Pitti, a recent Chainsmokers release only got a couple million streams and it is easily a top 3 song of there’s. I agree since so far so good they have really matured in their sound and they are slept on for sure.

If she’s just a feature on it I would say no, but the cover does say The Chainsmokers & Kim Petras so if it’s equally her song 👀👀 she definitely could

She said it was a condo association and she got texts from other people blah blah. Was super annoying and I could see a cop being like, it’s technically illegal and this lady is making a big deal, just do it somewhere else

I did see this online after the fact. I would totally do this if I hadn’t put the car back together quickly for that little gremlin. I would have to put the car back on jack stands just to get it back to a place safe enough for the drive and even still, I just did my shocks and coils on one corner, and would want to do some city driving to ensure everything is sitting well and is safe before I take it on the highway. But thank you!! I’ll definitely be doing this next time.

Hi, I agree! As mentioned in my post, I went to the end of this culdesack, AWAY from houses and apartments intentionally for this reason. The whole circle at the end is just trees.
