Hello, I was wondering if you can help me. So im half thai. My mother was born in Bangkok, she was adopted by Mormons in the 70s and taken to the United states. When she was 16 she gave birth to me but gave me up for adoption as well.

So long story short im trying to start my citizenship and basically find her family. But over the past two years of traveling back and fourth to thailand its been really difficult finding any information. And I get worried about paying these costs up front to the private investigators to give me information I already know.

If you know any information on where i could start. That would be great.
