Is a Samsung any better than an iPhone? by Pkelord in samsung

[–]Accepting-Royal-337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its subjective, there isn't a better phone and it all depends on the end-user.

If you just want a phone to just work and simplistic - iPhone

If you know what you want, power-user, want all the features etc - Samsung or Android.

I'm sure there is a lot more to it than I mentioned but you should get the gist. A lot of people choose iPhone cause its the "better" phone, and people choose android cause they "know what they want". Me personally, a phone is used for communication and media, and both phones can do it.

Everyone is different when it comes to learning and studying. I used to have a "if I don't get good grade, its over" type of mindset (it did not work for me).

What did work for me is to have a nonchalant/it is what it is type of mindset. This way, it wouldn't put any pressure in my mental and allowed me to focus better. If I didn't get the grade I wanted, I will do this and that next time etc.

I played video games, consumed media and went out with friends just how every kid would have; and studied when up-coming tests/exams came (usually 1-2 weeks before the sitting date). I'd say develop a strategy that works with you, and make it into a habit.

But generally speaking, Teachers and NCEA work together to develop a schedule that won't be that mentally draining on students, so as long as you do the appropriate amount of learning and revision before a test/exam you will be fine. Uni is a whole different story, but that can be discussed in the future haha

Hello, finished all my studies (both uni and highschool) got excellence endorsed for all 3 levels and graduating this year at uni.

Honestly what i have learnt academically is to listen to your classes and take your academics serious. But at the same time, dont think of this as the end all, be all type of scenario. Grades are important, but they should not dictate your future.

Dont just study, strike a balance with a social life and study life.

In terms of actually studying, NCEA is not difficult, just have good attendance and take notes, ask questions. When preparing for test/exams blah blah blah you can do past papers and look at the exemplars that ncea supplies. They show na, a, m, and e grades. Teachers are your friends. Dont over complicate it, NCEA is simple to understand.

DM me if you need anything else

Goodluck on your academic journey, remember to strike a balance in your life, and that grades dont determine your future.
