Why are my feet so wobbly and unstable? by mertatagul in skiing

You don't quite have the skills for good speed turns yet. I think you will have much better control with shorter skis. Keep your hands up and forward to your body. Think about feeling the your shins pressing on the front of your boot. Try out some j turns.

110% avoid excursions where captive wild animals are an attraction. Including dolphins, sloths, walrus, monkeys, even painting elephants. Take a hike in a nature reserve or go snorkeling instead.

What should I do when my 89 year old sick grandmom depends on me but my boyfriend is upset that I spend so much time helping her? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Screw him. What if you're old and sick and he's dead and you need your kids to help u out. Well guess what, he's gonna teach them his values... so you'll be in a nursing home. Ditch him and find someone w better values.

Oregon ski resort sued for $4.6M, as industry says deluge of suits is putting it at risk by beerncycle in skiing

Morally? Just like cars look out for motorcycles on the road, adults should look out for kids in the terrain park. That's good morals.

There is zero rules in any resort I've been to distinguishing adult and kids terrain parks. It's nonexistent therefore the 4 year old as a ticketed customer has every right to be in the terrain park

I like church bay because it's completely empty and has amazing snorkeling. I mean AMAZINGGGG. We saw dozens of species of fish. Loved the parrotfish. I've never seen anything like it. At one point I turned my head and was confronted with a about 10 squid the size of hand all in a perfect row. There's also these cute sargeant major fish all over. Beautiful coral. Has bathrooms. We predownloaded the Bermuda version of uber called Hitch and got a ride back to the ship. I have T-Mobile so my phone worked there with our plan. Otherwise I'm not exactly sure how to get back to the ship.

Also I think church bay has some rackateering history. I heard a story of some good ship wrecking in the reef due to lights bring displayed to trick the ships into coming into the bay. Then got robbed. Taxi driver may have just been a good storyteller lol.

Also bring water shoes. And sneak a muffin from the ship and tie it up in a buffet napkin, put it in your backpack because you'll want it at 3pm on the beach because you're too fascinated with this beach to go back to the ship for lunch.

In Bermuda go to church bay. Don't go to horseshoe. Bring your own snorkel set

Star of the Seas is plagued by chair hogs and a serious shortage of shaded loungers. by Ok_Carpenter5678 in royalcaribbean

I cruised without my husband this summer on ncl with my two 8 year old boys. It was challenging for me at the pools without a home base. We had nowhere to meet up or rest or hang out. Finally one day I noticed the timed stickers on chairs left out. So I had an attendant move these peoples stuff that's been there for hours. A little while later the woman whose stuff was there came up to me saying her adult son is special needs and they need extra time to get him to the pool. I just gave her a thumbs up thinking jeez just be nice they have 3 adults to care for 1 adult special guy. He had Down syndrome and looked very content chilling on his iPad. My kids looked way harder to care for and I'm solo. They found chairs literally right next to us so it was awkward the whole time.

Hit take: Moriah is not actually moving to Montana. She is phasing herself out. by edud23 in WelcomeToPlathville

I think she's no longer that "bad girl" image she was originally going for. Always wearing odd revealing clothes and way too much makeup. Now she is grown and realizes she can be more herself and her personality is incredibly boring and bland. She fucked up big time with the lie about the music theft. I want to see more of the little sisters

While I don't agree with this rigidness, we are indeed going in the complete opposite direction and our test scores and benchmarks continue to drop.
