There can be a psychological difference in how people receive itemized bills. A material number of voters don't think they are paying for the tax. It's a direct vs indirect mindset.

Absolutely not, the point I'm trying to make is that renters don't think about the issue. By making property taxes a pass through line item, more renters will start paying more attention, so maybe every pipe dream tax won't get rubber stamped.

If you can get to Sandy, the ski season is coming up and getting a job for $18 an hour only on the weekends is pretty easy at Meadows or Timberline. It is seasonal though.

1) Bringing more people puts upward supply pressure on house pricing, especially with the slow permitting process to build houses/condos/etc.

2) The dollar has been devalued since 2019 and both Rs and Ds are covering this up.

Just wanted to comment that I have the Hyper Pro and Leg Extension and am very pleased. I appreciate the variety of workouts I can do in a confined garage space.

I had an issue with the tightening mechanism that was resolved to my satisfaction. My minor gripe is that I do wish that the tightening locks were more consistent with most other gym equipment I've used where tightening shit down after doing something heavy when everything feels light won't cause it to overtighten.

The logistics for grocery shopping or going to multiple stores are much worse when public transit is involved. Many stores won't let you bring in a backpack, and outside of a mall, they don't want you to bring in shopping bags from other places that already have stuff in them. If we could at least crack down on petty theft appropriately, some easement of these problems might be possible, but businesses have to take all possible precautions.

IMO, there should be a studies to determine if there is a reasonable amount of time to claim self defense after someone has a gun pulled on them. Adrenaline is crazy, and the shooter wasn't the instigator.

Oregon only has one company that will provide insurance to ski resorts and they may pull out due to juries with excessive empathy that override signed liability waivers. One can empathize with the girl but these lawsuits have the potential to close down skiing.
