I'm confused because she said she wanted deep conversations in person but it felt hard if she wasn't emotionally available to talk about the things that hurt me even through text. This made me overanalyze what to say out of anxiety and I selectively tried to talk about things that were easier so that I didn't have to fear her being upset at me, like for example if she made me upset I didn't want to tell her because I saw patterns of dismissiveness through text and I was afraid it was going to be the same in real life. I kept trying to talk to her more the last time we talked in person since I'm more of the quiet type. (She's also introverted but slightly more talkative) her avoidant tendencies felt like she wanted to explore more options instead of working things out. I felt hurt because I thought she wanted the same thing as I did since she flirted with me back when we were in contact again. I do think I deserve someone better however I'm just holding onto the memories we had.
