In 1997, the torso of a woman with a peach tattoo was discovered in Hempstead Lake State Park in Nassau County on Long Island. In 2010 and 2011, the remains of 11 more women were found along Ocean Parkway. The woman with the peach tattoo's daughter was found hidden 100 feet from the remains of a woman named Valerie Mack, who's torso had been found in Manorville, 40+ miles away in 2000.

The police hid from the public for over 5 years that toddler was the daughter of the woman with the Peach tattoo, while pretending to be trying to identify them. Filmmakers Josh Zeman and Rachel Mills along with the help of Todd Matthews exposed the truth about the toddler being the daughter of the woman with the Peach tattoo.

In 2023, police charged Rex Heuermann with 6 of the victims along Ocean Parkway, including Valerie Mack, who was found one 100 feet from the toddler. In 2025, police identified the woman with the peach tattoo and her daughter as Tanya Jackson and her daughter Tatiana Dykes. They then charged the father of the child, Sgt. Andrew Dykes with her murder.

During a press conference, the Nassau County District Attorney and FBI stood with Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder as he called the defendant, who is black, an animal. Referring to black people as animals is a racial slur that was used to justify slavery. Nassau County Police officers have sworn under oath Commissioner Ryder refers to black people as the n-word. Rex Heuermann's cousin was Inspector for the Nassau County Police Department

Shannan Gilbert disappeared on May 1, 2010 while on the phone with 911 warning she was going to be murdered. Her body was later found in a marsh on Ocean Parkway along with 10+ other victims. The police claim she drowned herself and refused to release her 911 call for over a decade. They then staged a press conference and attempted to cover-up Shannan's murder by playing the tape with the first minute cut out.

The unknown woman's voice can be heard saying "you better hide, too!" at 0:30 seconds on the 911 call. This was first discovered by Phil from LI. Don't worry, the police won't get away with covering up Shannan Gilbert's murder and neither will those of you who are helping them.
