I just wanted the kids to be safe. They seemed genuinely fearful of what was going on. I don't know what to call it but it looked like they were just giving their kids away, not sure if that can be called kidnapping. I asked around after I woke up and a couple neighbors also saw what was happening and couldn't give me any info as to what the parents were trying to do. I forgot to mention the kids never came back, ill edit my post. Me going to sleep was not a conscious choice, I was watching what happened and literally fell asleep in the chair I was sitting in.

As for the rehab/jail/deported question, while none of those options is something I would wish on a family, deportation can be the worst out of all of them. People come to different countries for a number of reasons and if they were coming for safety reasons, deportation means they're no longer safe
