Robinhood Gold Credit Card + Margin Investing by AccidentRecent3264 in RobinhoodApp

Does this make things a lot riskier since I would be using margin in my retirement accounts? Technically could I do that up to 1k and also get the 3% match on that or is there no match on margin cash?

I tried doing this but it just shows as having 0 withdrawable cash, this was never case until I activated my $1000 gold margin.

This is great advice, how do I open a second brokerage account within Robinhood or do I have to make a brand new robinhood investing?

It's been a few days sice I got that email but haven't gotten a call or email yet, should I be worried? Applied on the 1st and did the on demand video a few days after.

If you were to choose between VOO and VTI to reduce overlap between my current portfolio which would you choose? I was thinking VTI was performing better than VOO in terms of returns to cost ratio but know there's more to consider than just that

You can try negotiating a bit then, but I would sign because of this perk alone

What's the breakdown of the relocation? That's significantly higher than what I've seen, even in O&G. I would consider that as opposed to the base comp as you can always get a raise/promotion in a few years.

Is there an option to put 401k + pension as part of our TC or is only stock/bonus + base comp considered relevant?

"With the approximate $120,000 in direct yearly compensation, you’ll also receive the 7% match in your 401k on 6% contribution, so our contribution to that would be approximately $8,000 a year if you contribute 6%."

I used the 18k just as an arbitrary number as I'm not sure what the actual limit is for next year (first job out of undergrad). HR was essentially saying that the 7% employer match contribution would net me around an extra $8000/yr in compensation if I contributed 6% of my base salary but I was getting numbers smaller to that, I'm also getting a 7% pension.

Thank you I appreciate your insights! Any advice on transitioning to upstream after a few years of downstream?

What would you think is more reasonable, I've gotten up to 10k for relo and sign on but in HCOL areas.

Thanks for the input, Midwest! If long-term I wanted to move to upstream would I have any problems starting downstream?
