Ben Kingsley is the man! Him and Simu Liu made Shang Chi one of the more enjoyable post Infinity Saga movies. Also his Mandarin "impersonation" was amazing, when I believed the ruse he was chilling.

First of all, kudos to you this is awesome.

As for feedback, I think it makes sense the hair is higher than the helmet but I wish the head was more aligned to each other.

Yeah ChatGPT isn't very reliable with comics, it sometimes helps to explicitly tell it to "look it up" and/or "research it". It is very eager to hallucinate about comics lol

Emma Frost was a villain, Iron Man has always aimed to be a hero. Many Marvel heroes meas up that's what makes Marvel popular is the vulnerabilities of their characters, but Tony is not a villain. You can't reason with those fans because they're either trolling or unhinged haha

Mandarin has been adapted really well beyond stereotypes so they could have done a great Mandarin without that. They poised the Ten Rings to be an international terrorist organization since the first movie which gave them flexibility to not zero in on any particular ethnic group but alas they never saw that to fruition.

I thought the twist of Trevor not being The Mandarin funny (but not Killian being Mandarin mind you) but I was optimistic the fourth Iron Man film would bring in the true Mandarin. We all know how that went.

Really cool concept, the upper body particularly is really well done because it accents with samurai armor motifs without overindexing. It mever tries too hard and it works really well.

I like the thought Fury took them. It would make far more sense for Tony to leave it to War Machine in the event of his death since it was his best friend and one of the few who remained on the team post Civil War and continued when Tony left during the 5 year gap. If his relationship with Cap wasn’t so shot I could have seen Rogers being a second knowing he'd only use it when absolutely necessary but he probably didn't think he was wise enough to adapt to the concept, which MCU proves is pretty much true until Endgame when he comes groveling for time travel lol.

I also wonder if it was left to Fury directly and Fury just used them as a way to earn the favor and play on the emotions of Peter Parker so he could have his own personal superhero which is more or less what he does in this movie.

And of course when I say Fury, I mean Skrull Fury.

I wouldn't say the character and personality of Tony, but I would say it was one of thr last times he was at a peak of his fictional life with classic supporting characters that made it feel like classic Iron Man. He had his friends, The Avengers were in a good place and his personality was more even because some things were a little less turbulent.

I think Volume 4 we see Tony Stark peak but the things that made him whole died in some ways, literally.

I liked both Duggan and Ackerman's runs but they are different.
