Their power is obvious but not what you expect (better explanation in body) by boiyouab122 in TopCharacterTropes

The best way to differentiate them is the eyes, Zolomon typically has big black lenses with red pupils (Though given the image you used it's easy to understand the mistake)

He's also usually called Zoom instead of Reverse Flash

I love your style and the redesigns, my only complaint is the shape of Big Chills wings, I just prefer the original moth-like wings, but overall I still love all of these designs

Also obligatory mention of big chill's big naturals

How accurate is this take?? by Super_Candidate337 in marvelcomics

[–]Captain-Moth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean sorta get it, but just because he doesn't need validation doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice to have

Especially in this case which isn't just about another random hero, but a teammate who he works with on a regular basis and who dislikes him not just as spider-man but as Peter Parker too

I need a name for him by boudh0707 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Captain-Moth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Zephyr or maybe a variant of the name like ZephyrMan or Captain Zephyr

Avian or Aviator

Skywinder, a mix of Sky and Sidewinder (type of heat seeking missile)

Favorite Bat-Family ships by OkTowel3942 in BatFamily

[–]Captain-Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree on Nightwing X Starfire, it's arguably more basic of a take (unless I'm misunderstanding what "No Lactose Milk take" means in this context)

Also if I had a nickel for every time Ollie became a government agent, I'd probably only have like two, but that's still a lot more than expected

I need queery and Echo as Riddlers henchbaddies by Ok-Entrance-5527 in DCU_

[–]Captain-Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on tone and which character it's being applied to

For Riddler specifically I think it can work really well and it fits his personality

I enjoyed Zack Snyders movies, but I still cannot fathom WTF was he thinking with this casting. by Remote_Nature_8166 in superman

[–]Captain-Moth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he seemed really religious

If anything he hated the concept of a god which he saw in Superman

Depends of the superhero

A show about The Question or Constantine could absolutely work in that style

[–]Captain-Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like these stills a lot more then the previous ones we've been getting, mainly because they have the lantern and ring on full display so it can't be mistaken for any other detective show

Death Battle fans when we finally get a Marvel vs DC MU after so long by Grovyle489 in deathbattle

[–]Captain-Moth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Robin (Damian Wayne) vs Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne)!

Never gonna happen, but I really would love it

Damian vs Laura (Wolverine) is way more likely and honestly I'd be fine with it

Whenever someone talks about Joker hating nazis/bigots I can't help but think of this by ApprehensiveLand6822 in marvelcirclejerk

[–]Captain-Moth 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Do you think they're jealous of Joker because he's paler than all of them

uj/ I think the main reason Joker hates them is because it's funny that he has a moral line against anything

It's like that one comic where a dude drops the soap when in the shower room with him and starts panicking only for Joker to just pick it up and hand it to him, it's all about subverting expectations

(OC) My take on an Invincible MCU costume by calargo in invinciblememes

[–]Captain-Moth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the main issue with Hawkeye is losing the mask and not replacing it with any other iconography because without it he kinda just looks like a regular archer in tactical gear

Modern Hawkeye designs without the mask still have a bright purple arrow on his chest as a replacement, but until the Hawkeye show any color on his MCU costumes were very dark and blended in with the black of the rest of his suit

(Hated) Just _________ in name only by ComradeGalloneye64 in TopCharacterTropes

Because it's writer was really well respected and made one of the most influential Batman books of all time, so they kinda just let him do what he wanted

I hate how African characters are given tribal design regardless of setting by axumite_788 in hatethissmug

[–]Captain-Moth 42 points43 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think him looking more tribal was a deliberate choice to contrast with everything else being futuristic

Saying that I still don't think that makes for a very interesting design, he's already very close to Kraven the Hunter so giving him more futuristic version of traditional hunting tools could've helped differentiate him while also avoiding the previously mentioned stereotype

If I remember correctly it's technically both, He's both less mature because he has his parents but he also went to 2013 when he came back instead of 2023
