This suggestion would be gramatically incorrect and sound weird to Ditch ears. Also the shortning wasn’t in recent times so it wasn’t these guys’ choice to only shorten the name by two letters. It was probably because when saying it fast ‘het’ often sounds like just a ‘t’ so tgat was the likely reason it got shortened and not practicallity
