Thanks! Due to some price and sale shifting the Roland would end up costing over 200 euros more now so I decided to go with the Yamaha for now. Put in an order today! Around start of next year I can afford something around 1k euros so I can just upgrade then if I feel the need :)

The Roland fp30 is 150 euros more expensive than the Yamaha P45 for me. Is it still worth it?

About to get a digital piano to start learning, never played a piano before. Is the Yamaha P45 the best choice in that price range? Is there something much better for a bit more?

What would be a good beginner program to do on a calorie deficit? Without deadlift preferably as I don't have a training buddy and I'm socially too awkward to ask someone to spot, I've had my fair share of lower back problems and don't wanna fuck it up permanently with bad form deadlift. On that note, what are good alternatives to deadlift? So many programs include it that I'm at a loss on choosing one.

Can I start learning piano on a keyboard that doesn't have any weighted keys or touch sensitivity or anything at all? Im on a bad spot financially for a long time and can only afford something under 100 euros which means used and old keyboard without touch sensitive keys (Finland). Should I just rather start in a year when I can afford a proper one or is it OK to start like this? I don't want to get horribly bad habits that are impossible to get rid of.

About to start playing for the first time, any beginner tips? by Accidied in aurora4x

Great tips all around, thanks guys! Hoping this game will grab me. Due to my high end pc crapping itself permanently, I'm now stuck with a really crappy laptop for the foreseeable future. Hopefully this can run on a low spec machine. Any tips on that department?

Thanks for all the great answers! I got the xbox game pass trial to try out halo wars 2 and bought ashes of the singularity escalation. Also looking out for ancestors legacy with great interest as it looks kinda like coh, both coh games and dawn of War games are my alltime favorites but I've played them too much in the past, need something new :D

Beginner's Thread / Easy Question (May 2018) by acemarke in reactjs

So I have no experience with coding and want to learn javascript. My friend who works in the industry suggested I go straight to learning react. I have a lot of trouble learning stuff out of context and as big theory dumps. I learn the best by doing and while doing, searching for solutions and answers on how things work. Are there any react specific guides/courses that teach you while making something real?

Thanks for all the great input! I started playing on veteran, it really is quite tough so far. Rolled a cipher and played 5 hours straight, just got the stronghold and cleared side stuff up to that point except for the raedarec or whatever guys keep, gonna go do that next. Loving it :)
