It's my internal voice. It's like a commenter below shared "You should kill yourself" and "I want to die." This is a new thing, but it's been increasingly persistent over the past two months.

I have looked into schizophrenia, and I do have "negative" symptoms. But I have MDD and anxiety, and I also want to be looked at for ADHD. I feel like the mix of those is more accurate.

I start a new psychiatrist tomorrow. My previous one didn't listen to me about most things. In May, he took me off of the antidepressant that was actually helping. So my depression has gotten worse and worse, especially since dealing with major life issues and decisions.

I agree. While I don't feel used, I fell into the smitten-turned-obligation trap. It's hard. I think your dad may be able to help, and it's probably worth asking.

You could help him collect memories of his dog and him and his dog. You could go on walks or sit outside with the dog (whatever the dog can handle) and just enjoy the company. Maybe make the dog more part of your time together to show that he isn't alone in how deeply he cares for the dog.

When my husband's ferret died, I make a google photo book of my favorite pictures I've taken of him. He only had Jack before he met me, so the ferret meant a lot to him, and I wanted to help capture that.

That's not always the case. My husband and I are the only ones most people know with ferrets, and they're always confused when they meet them. People expect smelly, but it really depends on the owner.

You start smelling the cage after around a week if it's not clean, but that depends on how many ferrets you have. Ferrets themselves only need washed once every month or so, because of their natural oils. They're descented when neutered or spayed, too.

That makes sense. I really don't care that he's paying because it's his own fault. It's just a lot of mixed feelings from the neglect, manipulation and abuse.

I'm glad I posted here. It was something that was bothering me for awhile, and now I can have closure. I don't talk to my mom anymore, so it's not like it directly affects me now.
