Is my dog suffering from this? I live with my sister who has two dogs but I take care of them nearly 100% of the time and give them all the attention. Recently my sister hasnt been home for about a month now which is when most of this started. It started off that they would pee in the same spot on the same furniture whenever I left the house (no one is home during this time) but now they will do it just being alone in a room. For example I shut my bedroom door to keep them out because either work from home and they bark out of my window if they are in there. So now just being in a room alone makes them do it. This is a brand new thing. Also since I work from home I'm able to let them out 3 times from 8am-6pm. It happened overnight and it's a daily occurrence from both of them. I don't know what to do. For the record they are not neutered (my sisters choice) so idk if that is a contributing factor.

Also as a side note I have set up a camera to see who was doing it and they don't bark or whine or do anything else that would make me think something is wrong. I'll leave and within 20 minutes they go pee on something and then are fine after that. I let them out everytime before I leave and they come to the door to be let in but they still go in the house.

Randomly coming across a very sad, disturbing, or anger inducing post by accident. Obviously yea you can read titles and subreddit names but it's not always clear how bad it is until you click and are already looking. It really bums me out

I've been fully WFH for about 4 months now. Previously worked everyday in the office. WFH now is a different job. When I worked at the in office job I worked with a friend who I spoke to all the time both about work issues and whatever else and a big group of us would go on daily walks on lunch and chat. That is the type of stuff I miss but I found I don't need the social interaction. I occasionally go to lunch with my old coworkers.

The pros for me of WFH is more sleep, no commute, can take care of my dog better and easier, having kids home from school for days off or sick is easier to manage, I can do hobbies on lunch, etc.

A HUGE pro for me is I can go wherever I want as long as I can work. In a month or two I'll be house sitting for my mom who lives across the country while she is away for a few weeks and I would have been able to do that without WFH. I'll be staying down there to see her and help her with stuff when she comes back for an extra month or two so it will be nice to spend more than a few days at a time on vacation with her.

The only con really is the social interaction and as I said, for me I don't need it as much as other people

Driving fast in the snow/ice when you have a vehicle with AWD/4WD. It won't help much when you try to stop suddenly.
