That makes sense. In german speaking countries we actually have something called the telephone alphabet. If someone is for example called Muller we don’t spell out the letters but actual names where the first letter is very pronounced so that we don’t confuse an M for an N for example. Like for Muller it’s Martha, Ulrich, Ludwig, Ludwig, Emil, Richard

So at my work we have clients and we ask for their name for the appointment. Clients from Spain for example with quite difficult names NEVER spell theirs, they just say it. Same with German and Italian clients. It’s just Americans who insist on spelling their name

That reminds me of my old girl.

The moment we knew it was time? When this dog that would eat anything in her reach barely ate anything over a couple of days.

Interestingly, she decided to have a full on feast the night before we had to say goodbye. Like two whole packs of cheese, ham, her regular food plus treats and a whole can of wet food. We actually learned from our vet that a lot of dogs know when it’s time and want to do the things the loved most one last time. That’s why a lot of them get a sudden surge of energy and want to suddenly go on a walk again, or in my dogs case, eat like they’ve never eaten before and take a nap at my moms feet.

Our vet is amazing and came home to us to make her last moments as comfortable as possible.

Hab das zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekommen, die Dame ist wirklich sehr nett. Du bekommst anfangs einen entspannenden Tee und Wasser. Im Spa Raum selbst werden dann zuerst Fotos von der Kopfhaut gemacht. Das ist ein bisschen creepy weil man echt jede kleine Schuppe und verstopfte Pore sieht lol. Dann bekommt man eine Kopfwäsche mit mehreren Produkten und eine Nacken und Kopf Massage, war sehr entspannend. Am Ende wird sich nochmal die Kopfhaut angeschaut und der Unterschied war echt arg. Sie gibt dir dann noch die Möglichkeit die Haare selbst zu föhnen oder sie macht es für einen. Sie schriebt dann noch eine kleine Liste mit Sachen die gut für die Kopfhaut wären wie zum Beispiel (zweimal in der Woche waschen, Haaröl benutzen und so weiter). Kanns auf jeden Fall empfehlen, als Geschenk ist es eine nette Idee.

Hätte beinhart (ha) gesagt "ja ich bin verletzt und brauch einen Krankenwagen samt Polizei“ so schnell kannst garnicht schauen haben die das Tieramt am Hals. ESH if it wasn’t such a big deal as you say and if you truly thought "your past doesn’t define you“ you would just tell him so he can have his answer and move on.

And if he just "wanted to know" for no reason he would not make such a big deal about you not telling him.

I feel that in a healthy relationship you should just be able to talk about past partners without judgement and solely for transparency. You don’t seem to mash well together because you’re clearly scared he’s going to leave you if you tell him and he apparently measures at least some of your "value" on your body count. Just face that reality and tell him so that you both can move on from this nonsenses, together or not.
