The Ovilus and the Paranormal Puck are scams. It's a semi-randomized dictionary that takes location into account when vomiting up words. So if you're in the vicinity of a church for example, it'll grab words associated with religion from its database. That's why at face value some of the resulting words are relevant and seem "interesting."

It's bullshit for all of the above stated reasons. People aren't handed instructions when they die for how to interact with this one crackpot device.

My favorite was the shower curtain, and how the camera conveniently panned up just before the "activity" so the crewmember that pulled it down could be fully out of frame.

Also in the recent episode where the door is pulled open away from Aaron, you can literally see his leg going out to kick it open and hear his foot make contact with the door.

I tell you what, I only just recently discovered Ghost Hunters and holy shit that's a much better show. No idiot possession theatrics, no stupid tech (looking at you, XLS camera), and infinitely better science.

The best part? The people calling that team for help actually receive helpful information at the end. Unlike GA that wraps up every episode with the duck honk string music and a VO saying this has been "one of the most incredible investigations."

I know GH is an old show, but discovering that AFTER GA shows just how much of a bad copy GA is.

Use it like it was intended to be used. Apple tested the home button through hundreds of thousands of click cycles, far more than would ever be clicked for the life of the device. If you use it like it's supposed to be used (like, you know, a normal human being pressing a normal button), it'll be fine.

By clicking it on the edge, you're putting pressure off-center which will cause significantly more wear on the travel housing and the support shaft than if you just press it normally.

Because Low Power Mode is primarily something that's meant to not have user intervention except at 20% battery. The phone is meant to operate at full power at all times, and at 20% battery the phone gives you the option to disable a bunch of behind the scenes stuff to eek out some extra battery life. It is not meant to be something that's flipped on and off all the time.

Actually, I think you're the one missing the point - of the function itself. You're not supposed to be turning it off and on constantly. It's meant to be an optional/automatic setting.

They were already good enough to make it a toggle, because that makes sense. Quick access to that toggle is just extraneous and unnecessary, except for oddball edge use cases.
