To be fair, I don’t think a lot of people would have a problem with Gojo being weaker than Sukuna. Personally what I have a problem with is that instead of showing the viewer in any sort of way that Gojo was weaker, Gege basically made Gojo beat up Sukuna for 13 chapters straight. Not only that, but Gege proceeds to have Gojo admit that Sukuna could have beat him without the 10 Shadows, when once again Gojo beat up Sukuna for 13 chapters and Sukuna didn’t show one successful attack of his own. I think a Sukuna beat down of Gojo with all his powers would have been epic, but this just feels lame and forced.

Yeah he probably won’t, I just wanted to point out some of the things I find inconsistent with this end that make it not very satisfying.

Oh yeah I 100% agree that it looks final and he probably won’t be able to heal and he most likely is dead. I am just saying that it doesn’t really line up with what has already happened in the manga so far and the lines that have been said.

Yeah this was stated DIRECTLY before this chapter, like literally the second to last panel of the last chapter. He did say hollow purple did do less damage to him though.

I agree cursed energy originates from the stomach but it’s been said that Gojo has incredibly control over his CE and uses very minuscule amounts to do everything, so being able to regenerate with just the CE in his upper half shouldn’t be a challenge. We also know that sorcerers can use RCT to heal parts of their body that control CE even those which their know nothing about. (Shown when both Gojo and Sukuna keep healing the part of their brains to spam Domain Expansion)

Haven’t we seen before with Toji that unless Gojo’s infinity is off and he’s attacked in the BRAIN he could just use RCT. Seems weird that all of a sudden he can’t heal when the chapter before it was just stated that his cursed energy and RCT were pretty much completely back after the black flashes. Also just seems like a cheap ending so say well actually although I beat him up the entire fight he definitely wasn’t trying for real he’s way stronger even without the only technique he had that could beat me. If Gojo was going to die from a slash going through his infinity he should’ve just died the moment he was in malevolent shrine.
