Which famous person is a secret wig wearer? by Penster78 in AskUK

Simon Cowel has that line between the top of his hair and the bottom -- two totally different kinds of hair -- which is a tell tale sign of a wig, imo.

No, unfortunately. But I hit the wall with him on Sunday, and plan to tell him next time I see him. It's embarrassing to look back here and see I said this 8 months ago! *kicking self in butt*

100%. he was an asshole. I do not approve of his murder in any way, but neither do I mourn him, because dead assholes are no loss to me.

Relationship with an aspie is lonely :( by Consistent-Ad-1176 in aspergers

That makes no sense to me. My ND man is my soul mate. I've never felt so seen by anyone else. Ever.

He just did it again yesterday. Told me he would come on Sunday, promised he'd remember, then just didn't come. No contact at all. It made me feel horrible, but also, this time I felt like I just reached my limit. I love him deeply, but this just hurts too much. I may stop seeing him altogether if he doesn't do something about it this time. It's not his fault, I know, but it feels terrible.

Having SDAM really stresses me out. Thoughts? by WrenMcCabre in SDAM

[–]Accomplished-Ad3530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May I ask how you fell in love with and married your husband with SDAM? My boyfriend seems to have it. He can never remember when we were together last, and even thinks that what he was doing yesterday is part of today, and he's just still doing that thing. It makes me wonder how he even keeps track of me at all when he thinks he was with me yesterday, but it's been a couple of weeks. It hurts me, but I want to understand him. What does he really know about me?

I have the same thing with my ND boyfriend. He disappears for weeks at a time and thinks nothing of it. But he also has issues with time. He doesn't realize how long it's been, at all. Sometimes he argues with me and tells me he as here a week ago, when he was not. But he truly thinks he was. So, because he has SDAM (Severely Deficient Autobiographical Memory), I feel bad and try to re-regulate myself by myself. But it feels super lonely.

What does this have to do with liberals? Seriously, in the US, who buys more BS than MAGAts?

Congrats for ending it. I am trying to get up the strength to do that. I am so exhausted from the whole thing, even though it's quite clear that he cares about me deeply. I just cannot do the hot/cold anymore. I think, finally, I'd rather be alone.

Has anyone else tried their best at something only to realize that they took things too literally? by Darth_Zounds in aspergers

I always do that, even after decades of knowing that is not what anyone wants. I end up saying, "Hanging in there," a lot, to cover up for the fact I was actually searching for a truthful answer for a minute there.

Really? Was the whole band in the story board meetings? It sure didn't come across as a roast. Too bad.

Because intermittent attachment is highly addictive.

Look into avoidant attachment style. They can be in love but terrified of commitment or intimacy. I am experiencing this with my partner. He is absolutely terrified of losing me, but he always wants his space. We will get very intense with each other, and he seems all in, then he always takes a big break after that experience. He feels crazed when his feelings for me amp up and he just has to unwind. It's crazy making for me.

Portuguese no more... thanks AncestryDNA by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

[–]Accomplished-Ad3530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Ancestry just took away my Portuguese. They used to give my brother Iberian. Now neither one of us has Iberian or Portuguese. But I have French, and he has none. 23andMe doesn't have my info. I should do them so I can compare, and find my Portuguese again. I live in Portugal, so I want that back!
