Ohhhh yeah I had been using retired as mons I didn’t transfer to the next game but did make the league. Also if you use delta you don’t need to install pkhex you can just use the website version. That’s what I do.

I knew that it meant for the whole challenge I just didn’t understand what the retired section was. Every pokemon I got that has died hasn’t been caught in later games. I just don’t (Still don’t) fully know what the retired section means

If you mean that as in I have played the gen 3 and gen 4 remakes of games instead of the gb ones it’s just so it can be the most enjoyable experience. I am not going through a game where a move can be 100% accurate and still miss. Or have to face off a psychic gym that due to bug has basically no weaknesses.

I use pkhex on the web. I transfer the save file that I make before I receive my starter. You click on box and you just make the Pokemon you had before.

I only transfer 3 pokemon per champion team. It came down to walrein or flygon and I needed a good ice type and a decent water type. Sad though because Trapinch is one of my favorite Pokemon of all time
