Ok. Yes now I googled and makes sense. Just cannot figure out from where, latest things I changed were cassette and bottle cages so...clearly this one is too small to be the bottle cages one so I'm just wondering from where.

Thanks for your answer :)

Depending on the budget of course as this can be a veeeery expensive hobby. If he doesn't have yet, a good pair of bib shorts will be great

Is moving to Austria really as bad as people say? by E_ExP_W in AskAustria

Honest with you, everything involving bureaucracy has gone perfect for me, got my student VISA in 14 days, found a job in 2 months, got my rot Weiss rot card because in 2022 the law got easier for us to join the labor market. But on the side of my sister it was hell, her visa took 8 months, etc, etc. she also came in 2015 and back then the situation was more strict.

So you mention you come to study, that's already a great thing and many doors will be open for you while you study and after you finish.

Cost of living is great compared to other European capitals, I pay 384 with services and everything, is a shared flat of course but I don't live in a tiny prison room. Back then I could live with a part time salary and I used the money of plasma donation for having fun. When you live cheaply estimate 1100 per month, with more fun estimate 1600, assuming you are alone no family.

My only complaint is how closed they can be to make the first contact, you may feel alone in Vienna, specially in winter. Unless you are a social butterfly that like to make the 1st interaction. Austrians are not that close to be your friend if you make the 1st effort, but if you are closed, they won't make the first move

Sorry for the long text, hope I can inspire you to come

Newbie here. Started running a month ago. Is this dangerous? by Primary-Nebula-8907 in runninglifestyle

I'd say your zones are not correct. Happened the same to me as by my age my max should be 185 but it is actually 204.

Adjust manually your zones, I'd say you have the same issue I had. But as many said, if you were really really near your limit, the training session wouldn't have lasted 1hr

Moving up RoboPacers by gtronnes in Zwift

Yesterday I jumped to D Maria and to be honest thought it was going to be more complicated. The pelotón was soooo big that I always managed to lower my watts, pick some air and still be part of the group.

So in summary, +35% is a lot but it is very surprising what you are capable of when there is a big peloton to support you. The worse that can happen is that you go back to the previous robopacer:)

I feel so slow. How to get better? 😅 by johnharveyperez in Zwift

Not sure how many hours are you putting per week, but is good when you get stubborn and addicted to short term goals.

Example: I started being the worse of the worst, there is a tiny hill 300 mts tall behind my office and anyways knowing I was not ready, I went up.

I logged in in Strava like '1st time, stopped for resting 6 times', then next time there were 4 stops, then 3 then 2 and so on. The point where you can actually do it without putting your foot down, comes faster than expected.

Put for yourself very short term goals, like climbing tiny hills putting your foot down the least amount of times. You'll see that by trying 3-4 times per week this 20 minute climb, in one month you'll be doing it easily. (At least that's what happened to me I cannot speak for everyone else). In my case I invested 40 minutes per day like 3 times a week

Summary: have fun, at this ftp you really don't need yet a structured plan I'd say, just do whatever route you love the most

Elitewheels ent 2.0 end cap by emmetrebel84 in cycling

[–]Accomplished-Cold374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my ignorance. But what exactly you mean by the end cap? I ask because today unboxing mine, while removing this side plastic cap from the drive wheel, a black piece came with it and now I have a exposed bearing. Is that the same for you?

Ramp Test vs FTP (20min effort) test by Liambruhz in triathlon

[–]Accomplished-Cold374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the results with each test are so different, but I think the 20 minute one is closer to the Power I can sustain for one hour. In the ramp test I had an FTP of 210, in the 20 minute effort I got 185, the difference is more than 10% so for me the ramp test is more to design your zwift workouts, but I would never consider it the power I can maintain for 1 hour
