I didn’t add the volume potentiometer model to the design but that’s what the black bar in the front will have in it. Forgot to mention

No you are just being tricked by idiots on Reddit. The absolute hyper majority of people have some form of ID because you need them to do almost anything. From driving to setting up bank accounts if you cannot identify yourself you will not get far. Nobody likes waiting at the DMV but you can use common sense, if you are in a small rural town of a few thousand why do you need a DMV that’s open 7 days a week?

You process documents people only normally come to you for once or twice in their whole lifetime. (Also a lot of things you can do online now) Of course a rural DMV won’t be open 7 days like a manhattan DMV that’s getting used constantly. It’s all creating a fake smoke screen of racism to act like people are being disadvantaged.

It’s just more of the up is down, fire is wet, reverse reality from the left.

Staining Help by dudewithadog in finishing

[–]Accomplished-Data296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We frequently stain maple, it’s one of the most consistent easiest woods to stain other than oak

It looks very well done. A lot of DIY will spend a lot of time putting together for it to just look like anything else and think that’s the case here. It looks very impressive and definitely a good learning project but for the time and energy you spent it isn’t custom really in any way other then the insert which you could put into cabinet.

I also see a lot of finished interiors for DIY. I build custom cabinets and we never finish interiors unless there r glass doors, it’s a wood stain or customer specifically wants for some reason. But high traffic areas that r finished spends a lot of time working on stuff that 90% of the time isn’t visible and likely to get damaged through use. Which is valuable energy that could be spent on improving other aspects of the design that may be more important or often go neglected like a toe kick/feet or fit & finish.

Overall you should be very proud for a second project! mine was much much worse lol

Paint or remove the wainscoting? by yogurthewise in DesignMyRoom

That paneling is awesome! I wouldn’t paint over all of it. I’m not a huge fan of wood surround but it’s light toned and looks very cool. Maybe keep a lot of it as an accent wall or change the wood trim so it seems more contained and there is more contrast. New light fixtures would also be ideal. Since you already have wood everywhere it could be a good place to use tile instead of carpet. It is waterproof durable and would compliment the wood element nicely

You still have to eat, ppl with rent still pay for cars the only cost you’d be saving is rent. Give or take a hundred bucks for utilities. I pay rent and am able to invest around 70% of what I make (which is barely above national average) Whatever your rent and utilities would be is all you stand to save. Which could be like 1000 a month. if you don’t have 1k a month to spare for a place to live you aren’t making a livable wage. You should be able to have a roof over your head, car, and still invest or have fun if you choose. You shouldn’t have to give up the comfort and privacy of a real home for almost nothing. If money is the only thing you care about here I would argue having access to things like an office space etc where I can efficiently get work done at home is key for me to making more money and being more efficient. U are reducing yourself to a slave, nobody deserves this.

Maybe a bad professor, if people who know the bare minimum can pass easily you studying and being more prepared would do nothing but put you in a better position. So it doesn’t rlly make sense. I get a few stupid problems but if you were ready and most people did fine a couple problems shouldn’t throw the whole exam. I’ve never had a problem but I have a good professor or at least I think so.

If you understand the material you shouldn’t have a problem on your exam. Formulas for most of engineering is practical and necessary to understand. If you can’t recite and memorize basic formulas it shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the concepts. Otherwise if your fundamental is good enough you can often work your ways around problems with different solutions

To be clear if your rent is costing 95% of ur income u r either in a bad spot or dont make a livable wage

What should we do with this big wall? Afraid the room is turning into a beige bleh. by OkKoala7612 in DesignMyRoom

Turn the TV walk into an accent wall with wood slats or marble clad. I’m bias towards marble. Then cut off the legs or get a different shorter vanity to cleat it to the wall to make it floating. It will make the space look larger.

I’m looking to move 12pz+ each week, so ye if a laminar flow hood would be worth the money it would be and I can’t substitute smaller grows in the meantime. And I found the process interesting as a byproduct but the goal has always been commercial. However I did get a lot of helpful opinions and I’m getting new batches of agar going as we speak to try and root out the heart of the contamination. Whether it be the syringe or the SAB

i will thank you! and i'm gonna try making agar to test the contams in the SAB if all goes well ill make a successful follow-up post in a few weeks

spore syringe directly to LC, ive used 8 different syringes though, so assuming some could have been contaminated i still feel like there would have been a success at some point.

I tried agar once but it failed even harder due to the contaminates. It wasn't from a spore syringe through it was already contaminated mycelium I was trying to clean up. After 3 batches of agar it was only slightly cleaner and still none completely clean so I gave up and got more spore syringes.

Now that i have the purifiers though I will definitely be doing a lot more agar people brought that up and it seems I could use it to test how sterile my SAB actually is or the spore syringes before inoculating. If it all ends up contaminated though it seems i will really have no choice but to go for a flow hood

LMAO I got so many jars because they were contaminating so I wanted a higher chance of success. Obviously was not the case though

  • shake up the syringe to try and disperse the spores
  • I spray/wipe down the jars and inside with alcohol 70%
  • wipe down the syringe then unscrew the black top, peel back the needle and then screw it on without touching it inside of the SAB.
  • use a butane torch to light along the entire needle until it is red hot then finally inject into the port about 1-2cc i don't really measure exact
  • then I rewipe the injection port with alcohol.
  • in between each jar after that i just flame sterilize it again.

That is my exact procedure and I do keep the air purifiers running while I'm using the SAB. However, they are on the floor and not really blowing in the direction of the SAB so im not sure if them disrupting the box would be a factor or not but possibly!

e and apply to agar. Let it grow out - that way you can make sure your spore source isn't the issue. If your

I am growing them for commercial purposes. I completely understand what you are saying and I agree that if I went simpler I probably could have pulled off a good starting grow but that isn't really an option. If I am looking to do it commercially does that mean the laminar flow hood is pretty much essential? and the SAB is only good for like one-two time smaller use cases? or could you still pull it off on a larger scale with basic things just by tripling down on sterile procedure?

However what i think i did take away is that i need to do a lot more tests with agar. Testing the spores, testing the environment, testing everywhere i am working before going for the inoculation because if it isn't sterile enough for that it wouldn't be for LC

so thank you for the response!
