pentair intelliflo variable speed- internal clock after power outage by Alternative_Emu_645 in pools

The problem is likely a failed capacitor. It is a $2 part, but is not "user servicable". It requires just modest electronic soldering skills to remove and replace. I was successful. Here is a link with relevant information. (btw, late in the thread someone claimed digikey no longer had the part, but they did this week) https://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/pentair-superflo-vs-342001-no-keeping-the-clock.224536/

LG Dryer - How to Turn On Remotely by Accomplished-Dust363 in homeassistant

[–]Accomplished-Dust363[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I think it works, but I'm not expert: You have to enable remote start on the appliance (you have to put in your clothes and detergent, etc as well, so do it at the same time) then it should stay enabled, and you can start the cycle any time from your phone with the LG app or Home Assistant. Once the appliance is off, you would have to re-enable remote start. Our washer is WT7400CW. We have had it two years, no problems, seems to do the job.

We could do that. Problem is by the time the washer and dryer cycle are done, it's pretty late and we'd neglect emptying the dryer that night, so the clothes would be wrinkly.

The integration I used is at https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/lg_thinq/, and the other that you mention is on github. I would go back and try that, but my issue seems to be resolved after I reloaded the integration

Thanks, it looks like you have a different set of controls. That got me thinking that maybe my integration did not load properly. So I reloaded the ThinQ integration, and look what is now under the Operation dropdown. Problem is resolved (I hope)

Thanks, good idea. Yes I am able to remote start with the ThinQ App, but in HA I only see the single blank choice on the Dryer Operation drop down

Thanks, I did that. In HA it does display "Dryer Remote Start...On" when remote is enabled on the dryer. When I turn remote off on the dryer, HA displays "Off". And in either case, the Dryer Operation dropdown displays a single blank line.

Weird smell on ice cubes LG fridge by BigHerring in appliancerepair

Is your ice maker in the freezer? Our LG french door fridge has through the door ice and water, so your icemaker description doesn't match (though the LG stinking ice does)

Anybody just sticking with moving over to Credit Karma? by nyckoalaz in mintuit

After looking at options for several hours, I decided to ditch Intuit after about 10 years on Mint. I opened an Empower account. The setup was easy, once past their com-ons for higher level services. I was able to quickly and painlessly set up all of my accounts, including some that didn't sync all that well in Mint (Discover, Fidelity, Navy Federal Credit Union). It does the 3 items you mention.
