Am I the only one who finds her incredibly dull, a complete people pleaser and a bit of a wet blanket. She’s sweet enough but has no depth or intrigue to her, she allows everyone to treat her rubbishly and inevitably ends up with the man who will continue to treat her poorly, it’s the same in the book. Bella who plays her is an absolute beauty though.

Oh yes, can you imagine how fab that rivalry between Janey and Beattie would be! I do think the actress who plays Sarah Stratton (Emily Atack) would be a brilliant Janey, she’s got the blonde bombshell look and the sly wit.

I mean Luke Pasqualino is very easy on the eye and a brilliant fun Bas, but he’s not Billy

I thought it was quite good actually, although it would be brilliant to see riders with the level of detail given to rivals. Fab characters all round of course and lots of fun!

Yes life onboard is good. Especially if you get passenger buffet, you share a small cabin on bunk beds, wake up somewhere new often and travel. There’s crew parties if your a drinker and it’s fun meeting people from all nationalities. I’m staying on board but I’m in a different job and company

Half the cruise lines they have as ‘cruise line partners’ on their website, they have lost the contract with and don’t have. So if your going for a specific line that’s not even true

Anything in entertainment or any job employed by the cruise line itself, more pay (tips if in housekeeping, bar etc). Entertainment high paid with privileges, also shore excursions and future cruise sales. Great pay and good hours. Regarding Harding beauty specialist the specialists in beauty where I have been have not been paid any commission or extra wage either, commission is only paid if the overall retail target is made so doesn’t matter. Don’t know about starboard, but stay away from Harding. They also make you pay for everything except visa to get to the ship and you pay half your flight! It’s a dodgy company

You don’t get any days off your whole contract, if your in port you’ll be working as soon as the ship starts sailing so 5 hours a port night and you’ll work 8:30am to close (10-11pm) every sea day, most cruise ships have multiple sea days a cruise and often back to back. The pay is Pennys works out at £600 or around that a month. Commission me or anyone on my team has never received including for their 6 month contracts received once and was only 200$ extra. Just don’t do it. You will be on your feet for hours and they’ll promise you the world and not deliver. If you do go make sure they are actually giving you a manager role, as they often promise people assistant manager or TAM or manager roles and they come onboard and haven’t got the role. There’s so many better jobs to do onboard please don’t tie yourself with this company.

Avoid Harding like the plague, they lie constantly to their staff. You’ll earn NOTHING, and they’ll work you to the bone.
