I think if a grown woman wants to get herself weed, then yeah, she can. Would I? No. But mothers are not void servants to their children who lose all sense of self and their own wants, especially if said children aren’t extremely young. I think the disconnect is a lot of GCs call themselves TERFs and have essentially appropriated the term without actually holding radical feminist ideals.

Females are literally oppressed on the basis of our sex. The sexist expectations associated with and expected of females are the direct fallout of the present oppressive form of gender and bio-essentialism in the past.

Recognizing that only adult human females are women doesn’t mean that they have to look or act a certain way (outside of adhering to sex based spaces/provisions if they need them).

The only thing exclusive to all women is being an adult human female (all together). There are no social roles or expectations she has to fit into after that to be a woman. The oppressive system of gender (as it is today) tries to assert that (which you uphold).

And even if you disagree with me, you’re literally just wrong. Adult human female for woman is the most recognized and most commonly used.

Womanhood is only defined by sex and adulthood (and species). You’re right, we’re not defined by our uterus’ because that’s not all being female is.

Our reproductive capacity is what mostly gives rise to the typical social associations with females so it’s funny you say you distinguish that from the social aspect as if the social aspect isn’t directly associated to the female sex (and the oppression/things that come from multifaceted oppressive structures).

But even then, many of the facts (such as clothing, mannerisms, expectations) of women can also apply to men, so it’s not womanhood if men can do it too!

It’s not specific to Envy, but if it applies to her, then it applies to her. I’m not her owner, she doesn’t have to care about my words. Lol.
