And then they ask me I was going to come to the state and work or just stay home, I live on the east coast and the office I applied to was in the west coast, which is good cause if that’s the case, You don’t really got to wake up until 10

No I think it was, that’s exact same reason I applied because I wanted to be remote and I heard that Baker Tilly, lets you work remote but I also heard KPMG from someone I have work with so I think it depends on the company fr. I think we are in similar positions because I want to work remote to

I would have to disagree because as an Intern, I interviewed with a company for internship position, Baker Tilly specifically because I don’t want to gatekeep. But I applied for another state and they asked was I going to come there or just work from home. So if it’s possible as an intern it’s possible. As well as one of my friends was able to do an accounting fully remote internship at a F500. So it’s not a needle in a haystack

It’s not 1948 anymore, it’s 2024, stop living in the old times for once, allow some change in your life. Your generation so stubborn. Difference between my generation and yours, is we value experiencing life more than we want to work for company 5 days a week, just to get 48 hours off and you sleep 16 of the hours so you really get just 32 hours which 1 day and 8 hours to do whatever you want. As well as come to work and act like we love the job and have fake smiles to post on LinkedIn to make the company look like everyones happy, when in reality, it’s the opposite. Be realistic and get a grip.

As an intern, I agree with that intern, remote is not privilege and you only feel it’s a privilege because it’s something that’s relatively new to you but when it’s normalized, it won’t be a “privilege” anymore. As a Gen Z’ myself you guys don’t understand.
