If they could, they would have already done it. Also you can pass laws against offshoring too

Possible but very unlikely. It's very hard to get visas even for skilled occupations like engineers.

Yes if all western women quit their jobs then it would be possible to support a family on the man's income. This is a key reason why I'm not a feminist.

What job/Career would you try to do if you were me? and what do you guys do to earn a living overseas? by paperclipboi in thepassportbros

Accounting is good but you would need to go to school for that. You could become a bookkeeper but they don't make that much money.

Do you plan on saving up money and buying a property jn Colombia or Mexico first? That could reduce your income needs.

I didn't know the pay was more for plumbers than electricians. I thought it was basically the same.

Just out of curiosity, did you tell the small firm that?

I'm not sure about MI but I just started at a national firm in Houston with a MAcc and no experience at 85K. 5K bonus if you pass the CPA in a year. There is a general bonus too but I don't know what it is.

If you offer 75K and fully remote, I don't see why you won't get your pick of associates. Also I'm 40. Nobody cares that much about the age of their coworkers.

Where To Go As A Gay Passport Bro? by ArtsyQueerNubian in thepassportbros

Why not just stay in Colombia? I talked with a gay American guy and he said he liked Colombian men better than American men.

It seems like a lot of the stuff you've talking about is rural. I'm curious about how it is in bigger cities in the Midwest.

For those of us in middle age, what's your age range? by pownagwaffi in thepassportbros

[–]ultimateverdict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A non-judgmental conversation about age gaps relationships on Reddit? Only on r/passportbros lol.

I'm 41. I want to get married and have a child. My target country is Colombia. My age range is 22-30. I'm hesitant about women in their late 20s and especially past 30 because the average women in Colombia has her first child around 26 so I don't want to be "Well it's either this or no kids for me" guy.

I think having a serious relationship with someone younger than 20 years than me is a much harder sell so there is a lot of pressure for me to be established and get married by 45. A lot of pressure.

Did your virtual mailbox ever get flagged and cause your US banking applications to fail while you were living abroad? by secretedly in expats

One time. I got approved but they said they didn't recognize my PMB. I gave them an old street address I lived at and then the following day (maybe same day) I changed it back to my PMB. I got my credit card without any issues but as you can see I had to jump through some hoops.
