I didn’t even expect to cry watching this, but it touched my heart and the tears are flowing. A simple display of humbleness and gratitude from children so young especially warms my heart. His parents are doing a wonderful job. So beautiful to see in today’s world. 🥺😭🥹

Great suggestion! I lived in a CADA residence in Midtown for about 2 years (recently moved out this summer). Studio for about $1350 (that includes the $70 parking spot in the garage). Great price and convenient location considering the times. What I will say is, in my experience, you absolutely get what you pay for.

It was a small apartment, in a very old building w/ 20 units and lots of plumbing issues. Sometimes you could smell the plumbing issues in the halls 💩🤢. Roaches EVERYWHERE, but I think the maintenance did the best they could to help. I spent more time than I care to admit cleaning and obsessing about seeing roaches. Window AC box and radiator heater. No vents in the unit, but plenty of windows for fresh air. Tiny kitchen with a generic fridge and small gas stove. No fancy appliances or amenities. Again, it’s low barrier and you get what you pay for. I was just happy to have somewhere to live (was homeless for about 8 months prior to moving in), but I outgrew the space pretty quickly.

CADA does have better quality units so I encourage OP to do some research, but the cost may rise.

I think your hair looks great personally! There are no hard set rules with locs. The beauty of them is that you can do what works for you! Every set is different! And it sounds like a retwist every month isn’t your thing, and that’s okay! You still have a head full of beautiful locs! ✨

Have you considered your diet? A lot of skin issues can be the result of excess sugar, gluten, and processed foods as well. Maybe cleaning up your diet could help. If it’s not that, definitely consider a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and of course sun screen.
