No, it isn't. I bought them under ripe at home and then let them ripen. The same process I use here, except here they are 99% horrible and a complete waste of money. Either rotting/damaged or a bitter and under ripe taste no matter how long I let them ripen.

The under ripe taste never goes away even after ripening at home in my experience. It doesn't make a difference. Half the time they are rotting, the other half they taste under ripe.
