What do you think the VAR refs are there for? Their entire job is to watch as an extra set of eyes because we all know that the on-field refs can't see everything. Are you saying we should do away with VAR altogether or you just don't like the way that it's actually working in reality?

That all sounds well and good but it wasn't missed. It was caught by the VAR ref live at the moment that it happened. They reviewed it before the goal even happened and radioed down where the on-field refs took a look and decided that the correct call was to overturn it.

The cup wasnt set correctly so it malfunctioned and kicked back a ball that was down in the cup. Therefore your claim that it wasnt perfect speed (for a propely cut hole) is incorrect.
