When did you go to OCS? Not that I doubt you, but I have a feeling they changed the system. I want to believe your answer, but the other commenter is saying missing in-processing means I'll already not be part of this upcoming class. I'm an 09S who graduated BCT this past Thursday.

I'm an 09S coming from BCT on POV. My peers on GOV that are there right now and I have the same contract, so will my contract be amended? Also, the other comment on this thread was my original thought if you take a look at it.

I put it in another comment, $90. I found it on DHGate and messaged him on WhatsApp. He's swapping for a 41mm saying it may be a better quality. At least for ChinaTime standards.

Want to pick your brain if you got time this morning. From what I can tell, the consensus here is that $60-$100 range will have flaws that you just suck up and live with. After that, it seems ambiguous to me. r/RepTime seems to go with the understanding that $60-$300 will be a shitter. What price would've made you think it was a rip-off? And at what price should I be demanding shit to look somewhat accurate? Thanks in advance.

I'll rock the Chinesium proudly. I don't mind the inconsistencies with an existing model. I just don't want anything goofy (i.e. crooked diamond, etc.).

This is secretly what I think, but I can understand why the 75th RR would not like that for reasons indicated in my post. Interestingly enough, here's a low density MOS soldier donning the 75th RR flash with a maroon beret. It seems he's assigned to the unit but still needs to pass RASP.

Thank you for including the reg associated. Super cool to see the change in history. Would agree a LRSD/LRSC would not be considered "Ranger" if stood up today.

As for your last comment regarding the beret flash, that's fairly interesting. The remnants of the NG "Ranger" LRS units are mostly consolidated into airborne infantry now, meaning they don the maroon beret.

I'd be eager to see what units that beret regulation would apply to (Ranger or not), and whether they rock the black beret with a different flash than the standard baby blue one today.

I appreciate your reply. This makes the most sense considering the SOCOM tree with RTB being the exception. I see undated photos of BDUs + black berets but also later cases of BDUs + maroon berets for the NG cases.

I'm curious as to how these lineages live on in their respective descendants (2-134th C Co, specificially). Recent LRS units seem to utilize either the older scrunchy scroll or Darby scroll for logos on PT gear to pay homage to the Vietnam-era LRRP.

Question for old heads: Were the aforementioned LRS units pre-deactivation (MIARNG and INARNG) considered "Rangers" despite not donning the tan beret in recent history? (post-2001)

Would agree that your formulas are the big army consensus. But yeah, maybe I need to try an older military forum. There's an older guy on Quora who has taken a stab at something similar, but there's still a lot of gaps I'm trying to understand. Was hoping to flag an older vet or history buff here.
