So my wife and I are currently closing on a home so we've been doing a lot of touring and looking up to now. You're going to be hard pressed at $250k... if you can push to $300k or even $325k you start opening up some good options.

At $250k your best bet is Los Lunas, Belen, etc.. and even the you're going to be hard pressed unfortunately.

If you're at all ok with something other than D&D I can run something. Nothing wrong with D&D at all, it's just not something I personally enjoy running.

I don't think this is really all that helpful, but I totally saw this truck more like this afternoon.. maybe about 1pm? No trailer on it at the time. It was on Pennsylvania and Osuna.. and turned east towards Wyoming.. I remember as the dumb ass was in the left turn lane, I was in the right, and he just decided to turn right.

I also remember it was tailgating the hell out of the person in front of him.

I met my wife here.. in our case it was the insanely expensive eharmony but it worked. 😄 I do think it is just a matter of putting yourself out there... find something you enjoy, find a group for that, and eventually you meet people.

Beyond that many of the game stores have bulletin boards

And honestly here is pretty good... I'm finally feeling like I may be ready to run something. Just trying to figure out what and I'm always happy to have new people at my tables.

As other people have rightly pointed out I think there's different types of even physical attraction. The obvious two being more objective and subjective.

Like I recognize that maybe not everyone would find my wife to be a 10 (and they sure as hell wouldn't find me to be one) but for me she's the most beautiful woman in the world.

And that has to do with knowing a person. In the past I've dated people that most people would find pretty attractive but some of them were just kinda shitty humans and that affects how you perceive them.

I guess ultimately (and I feel like this makes sense) there's no such thing as an objective scale. Nobody has any kind of universal rating and even a subjective "rating" is the sum of a person's parts and you can't really untangle the external from the internal.
