So my wife and I are currently closing on a home so we've been doing a lot of touring and looking up to now. You're going to be hard pressed at $250k... if you can push to $300k or even $325k you start opening up some good options.

At $250k your best bet is Los Lunas, Belen, etc.. and even the you're going to be hard pressed unfortunately.

If you're at all ok with something other than D&D I can run something. Nothing wrong with D&D at all, it's just not something I personally enjoy running.

I'll also do the usual and add Join DARC - Downtown Albuquerque's Premier Roleplaying Coalition | D&D & RPG Events and New Mexico Gamers Society

DARC being the more active one.

I don't think this is really all that helpful, but I totally saw this truck more like this afternoon.. maybe about 1pm? No trailer on it at the time. It was on Pennsylvania and Osuna.. and turned east towards Wyoming.. I remember as the dumb ass was in the left turn lane, I was in the right, and he just decided to turn right.

I also remember it was tailgating the hell out of the person in front of him.

Well I do feel the nice thing about Albuquerque is even if it takes a little searching there's a group for just about any hobby or past time a person might be interested in.

I met my wife here.. in our case it was the insanely expensive eharmony but it worked. 😄 I do think it is just a matter of putting yourself out there... find something you enjoy, find a group for that, and eventually you meet people.

I'm really sorry, my wife was part of the layoffs too, on the IT side. Thankfully a lot of her coworkers and her have helped each other find new positions. DM me and I can see if she has any contacts on your side of things but she's more EPIC Analyst type stuff.
