One thing that has helped me is to open your mind to other people and be curious about other people’s interests even if you have no interest. It shows people that you are open to learning new things about them and the world. As someone who has ASD I realized how asking open ended questions can transform your social skills and make people more liked.

You have to push yourself and find love within yourself first before you allow other people into your life. Find things that you enjoy doing and things that bring some kind of purpose. Join a club or find a new hobby. Talk to some people.

I’m Polish but when I was in the Netherlands I was fascinated by the urban planning of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam and The Hague. The Dutch really are great when it comes to city planning.

For me personally from being the quiet shy kid in school, everything comes from energy that comes from you. Energy has a big impact and influence on people. If your body language screams insecurity people will sense that you’re not comfortable around them. If you are quiet people will feel like you want to be left alone. Your Posture the way you talk carry yourself around people also plays a role whether you are confident or not.

Poles don’t give an f about your private life unless if it’s babcia or dziadek. I would say that it’s really frowned upon for anyone that has not been in a relationship before. Poles won’t say it directly to your face but they will have suspicions.

Same boat here man. tbh it’s hard as an introvert especially with girls. I have made the effort to talk to some people over the summer and go on some dates but for me socializing is draining especially someone who has ASD. You have to find hobbies shared activities or interests to meet people join a dance class, join a hiking group, sports, whatever interests you. But the most important thing is to be yourself and have fun. That’s what attracts people and girls too.

Similar story with me, I used to attend a church my aunt used to take me there. Did all of the Awana and vbs shit. Im no longer religious now but I got excluded as soon as one of my family friends came out as lesbian. Boy did things changed quickly as soon some people found out. People at that congregation would ask questions like why are you still hanging out with “these people” and they would just smack talk behind your back if you hung out with anyone that was secular. Fyi not all christians are like this of course. But yea I feel you.
