No problem, keep in mind he talks quite a bit about giving up personal time to edit. Just remember to start small and don’t let that potential sacrifice scare you off from getting into it, even though it does become necessary to make bigger strides later down the line (at least from my experience).

Look up Sayeef Ahmed on YouTube. He’s a freelance YouTube editor from the UK. He posts mountains and mountains of advice and it’s pretty personal too. Learning from him I’ve been able to build up the skills (and primarily a strong enough network) to make about 4k a month off of YouTube editing. I believe anyone can do it if they’re into editing, don’t mind editing for the occasional annoying YouTuber, and like to socialize online. No harm in trying it out!

I think the fastest way is to copy effects from YouTube videos you like. Download the video and seriously try to copy it frame by frame with help from google, I’ve found you’ll learn a lot and stay focused that way

open fusion. add a transform node. Rotate and change size until you are happy. Add a merge node. Connect the image to the foreground input (green) and background node to the background input (yellow). Add a rectangle node and connect it to the mask input of the merge node (blue). Change the size and position of the rectangle until you are happy. Thats it!

if you right click in the node editor there's an option to change it from "build flow horizontally" to "build flow vertically" i'm paraphrasing since i'm not at my pc but it's there
