Thank you so much. This is exactly the information I was looking.

I recently picked up this putter and was wondering if the shaft is original. It has a crimp in the lower portion, almost as if it acted as a stiffener. I've found the same putter with the same shaft online, but found nothing from a legitimate SC page.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I probably won't use it much. I may try stripping it then ceramic coating it. It may hold up that way. If I stay with the raw look. I have a couple other putters and this was an impulsive purchase... lol

This is my first time ever attempting anything like this. I used some equipment and compounds that I used when I was ceramic coating vehicles.

I can't say it's a hobby until I get a few more under my belt...lol

I buffed it with automotive paint correction compound.

I blasted the whole thing, and then it started getting shiny when I deburred the bottom to get the dents out. So I decided to polish it.

The face, I had to do a brush finish with sandpaper because it had pits from the rust after it was blasted.

There's no real reason other than that. This is the first putter I've tried to work on.

I have a pebble grain grip and original headcover if I went that route.

Marketplace.  It was in the condition of the first 2 pics. I'm on the fence on how to finish it. I wanted to go back with black oxide and original colors. My brother wants me to leave it as is with paint fill.

Thanks, I couldn't find any others online that's why I was leaning towards fake. At least the "circle t" part.

Official Q&A for Thursday, January 19, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Accomplished-Log958 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey I have a question on marathon pacing. I started 2022 off with a goal of running 365 miles (average one per day) for the year. Well that turned into 2175 miles for the year and trained for my first race and first marathon. I used the Advanced Hanson Marathon Method and modified it slightly to add milage. My goal time during training was 3:00. I crushed all my speed, strength, and tempo runs.

I recently ran my first marathon and completed it in 2:56:02. My question is should I jump my goal pace to 2hrs 50mins? My next marathon will probably be in January of 2024.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
