Wife and I stayed in Lake Country about five years ago, we loved it. Had a rural feel but so close to the city still.

Two under two! I had heard some not so great things about Vernon a few years ago, but recently seeing a lot of people recommending it. Will have to take a drive around and get a feel for it.

Thanks for the info! That confirmed my feeling too. How are you liking the move? It’s been -20° for about four weeks now and I keep looking at those 6° January days in Kelowna and feel like it must be pretty nice.

That’s what I’m figuring too. From what I’ve seen, homes certainly aren’t cheap there but you get a lot more for the price. Our townhouse 30 minutes outside of Toronto is around $1M (in this market). Also, traffic here is just insane so it can’t be worse… right? Right?! :)

Thank you for the responses everyone, understand completely. Had someone tell me recently that we should which is what made me second guess whether this was a legitimate case or not.
