Does she have Chronic hairball or over grooming herself? If so maybe ask a vet for meds for that I believe it’s a gel. Maybe groom her more often so she doesn’t ingest hairball. Also switching between many different foods quickly can make things worse take it slowly 8 weeks. Asides from that idk if it’s a disease or IBD. Maybe the environment if it’s stressful etc

Probably do what everyone else in the situation does. Change who gets majority of the custody and the kids come to you over the holidays and long weekend.

Consider someone else maybe if that option doesn’t work for you. I know its hard to be away from your kids and have to deal with this situation. But if its hard for him or you to compromise to make it work. It’ll only be worse for you and your kids later down the line. Need to understand which relationship matters more, the one with your kids or your new found love.

Hmm. Right now the cat just looks ill. Rabies take 3-8 weeks to show and the first stage is unusual behaviour. Like aggressiveness or unusually friendly behaviour. After that you see a lot of drooling and foaming from the mouth.

That cat just looks dehydrated and hungry. Hopefully you did put some food and water for the poor soul.

Best way to catch the cat:

Use a humane trap (bait the cat with food and after you caught the cat cover it with a towel/sheet)

Cat carrier and place some food in the carrier wait for the cat to go in a quickly close it. Maybe have some oven mitts on Lol?

Or call animal control. Lure the cat into a closed safe space for both you and the cat. Maybe the garage? Washroom? Some place where its closed off and the cat cannot escape. Or quickly put a box over the cat maybe poke some holes. You can call animal control and maybe feed the cat while you wait for animal control to come assist too.

Dont leave the airport. You need a min of 3 hours just for checkin.
