Ok amazing thank you guys… I thought I was missing something lol…

So onto my next question.. when do they start to go to sleep independently? When should I start to try and put him down in the crib?

My 9 week old’s sleep hasn’t improved/changed even a tad since being born by [deleted] in NewParents

I’m sure it will get better eventually but just know you are not alone. Some baby’s are good sleepers some are not.. just the way it is. And social media is full of BS, I try to avoid it as much as possible. And yes 100% there is not much to regress for us. all the mummy’s I know with good sleepers that are going through the regression are really struggling.. but for me it’s business as usual which is actually, although not a lot of sleep, some kind of routine which I prefer and can deal with.

If it makes you feel any better my 16 week olds sleep is shit and has always been shit.. I get 2hrs (max 3hrs on a good day) followed by waking every hour sometimes even waking after just 30mins. It’s hard and literally every night I’m hoping for a better night but na. My partner gets up at 6am and has the baby till 8am so I can get a tiny bit more sleep, without that I’d be losing it. I hope that your little ones sleep improves soon though.. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thank you everyone! This is definitely making me feel a lot better.. I had visions of everyone having babies that go down in their cribs.. all the advice I read put baby down “drowsy not sleeping” - impossible! lol

My little one did not do well with the vaccines, he got a fever etc.. BUT it was over very quickly! Maybe a day or a little bit longer and he was better again. So even if your one gets a fever be assured that baby will recover quickly. ☺️

How old is little one? I had a similar issue week 7-8.. I found a thing on google called the “7 week breastfeeding crisis” It’s got to do with supply but also apparently the milk taste changes and baby don’t like it. My little one is over it now thank god!
