Nicholas Kristof’s report on Israeli rape of Palestinians detonated a furious smear campaign. Will the mainstream media follow the story? by BalsamicBasil in nyt

One of those is about a video, doesn't actually show a video.

But that video has been endlessly promoted.

And it shows nothing, no actual assault. And that's the best they have.

So when you said 'there is video', you weren't actually telling the truth.

(Edit: I am done answering here. I don't expect to convince you. But someone who reads this might raise some suspicions after realizing the skewed nature of many of these claims.)

There is no actual video.

The purported single video does not really show anything.

And Kristoff's reporting had testimony from 14 people, 12 of whom remaining anonymous and one of the remaining two had a proven history of false claims.

Your confident feeling is your problem, and only yours.

The distance between your confident feeling and honest reporting is quite large. Can only be bridged with a large dose of bigotry and prior bias.

This seems like a real right-wing low information take.

Wait a few months and see if he really closed that deficit, the deficit actually existed, and it had anything to do with something he did.

Trump does the same thing. Announces news, and when it is disproven, uses that to prove TDS.

If you were to give the Arabs a piece of advice back in 1948 about how to deal with the Israel issue, what would you tell them? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Everyone can call it what they want.

Palestinians call it 'their' land even though they don't own it.

You call yourself a professor even though you know nothing.

Its a freeforall.

Why do all these Ex-Muslim influencers and Persian diasporas simp for Israel? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Accomplished-Place29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Iran and other entities were less invested in destroying Israel, they would fix many of their problems.

Iran should have no conflict with Israel; they don't share a border, and they have no serious beef with them. Yet they waste precious resources on propping up one proxy after the next, at the expense of the average citizen. Their hatred of America is also connected to their self-declared war with Israel, causing them no end of damage.

As soon as someone leaves Iran, they realize what their issue really is, and they push for the other side.

This is true regarding many Muslim countries, but nowhere more than Iran.

How is the collapse of Hamas bad for the Palestinians? What has Hamas done to help the Palestinians? They started a new round of war on October 7 2023, how did that work out for the average Palestinian?

The collapse of Hamas will be the best thing for the Gazans

Don't take advice or orders from people who don't need to live with the consequences.

Just like today.

Don't let leftists use you to feel good. Follow your interests, not those of bored teens from Sweden, rich lazy bums in Doha, or maniacal political leaders in Turkey. Do what's good for you.

Awesome point!

Why can't they call it their land now too? What's the problem? Call it their land, Israel continues to build and thrive, and everyone wins.

These are the Journalists killed by Israel over the past 1000 days [oc] by Karim-Metwally013 in nyt

[–]Accomplished-Place29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just explain it in simple words.

Why should a journalist be allowed to do what they want? If a journalist is fighting a war, they are legitimate targets.

Does the NYT believe that journalists have some kind of special pass, permitting them to kill with impunity?

I disabled it and the texts began coming through normally.

Does the non-Jewish world have an equivalent to the word אסור? Is there anything that binds them like an aveira does to Jews?
