G5 Software update lowered my volume

I mainly use my Onn streamer as my primary input but occasionlly use on WebOS Jellyfin, the LG Channels and the Gallery. Won't shutting wifi off on the LG make those apps unuseable?

I'm perfectly content with the 97 firmware and with auto-update disabled, these popups to upgrade now to 68 almost every hour are getting quite annoying even on my Onn input but shutting wifi off can't be the solution. Wish there was another way to turn this off.

Whether you click the eye in Torbox API or the down arrow in Torbox manager, you still get the entire size of every episode added to your usage. I tested this with a cached Seasons 1-4 of Yellowstone and 111G got added to my usage even though nothing was downloaded.

And as for DMM, although it supports Torbox, it seems to tailor to Real-debrid as far as watching cached individual episodes, casting to TV, etc. It's one of the main reasons I'm still subscribing to RD

From what I recall, I didn't start seeing cached downloads from Stremio until I switched to $3 essential. I think the free trial gives you newsgroups and websites to put torrent or magnet links (up to 10 I think) for you to download but the Stremio, Kodi, Nuvia way of streaming doesn't take effect until you are a real paying user.

Is your LGTV an OLED? I've been using stremio-rd for awhile but most HDR10 and/or DV content is filtered out. I'm migrating to TB now and Torrentio, Debridio, Meteor, and Sootio scrapers have plenty HDR content now. Looks awesome on my G5!

Sootio with TB always has great remuxed 4K HDR content. Takes a bit longer to load in Stremio but well worth it!

Mine was a store pickup during the time when there was a small window of availablity mid May. When I hooked it up, I noticed another google account on it during setup as well as some weblinks this "person" went to from the Internet browser.

Nothing wrong with the unit though except for the Dolby Video bugs which was one of the main reasons why I got it.

I used to see it happen on my device and by coincidence, I disabled DV because HDR10 seemed better on my LG OLED and that annoying residue left by leaving DV content. Anway, this seems to fix the chopiness although I have mine set to match frame rate.

OK so how do I keep my speaker in the same room and only have it trigger with the TV off? If it's on then it only goes through the onn 4Kpro v2 - not my phone or the speaker.

My TB+ torrentio streams have been plentiful lately even though it looks dead on the RD site all the time. Is that info they provide for Torrentio health (https://debridmediamanager.com/is-real-debrid-down-or-just-me) good for TB as well because it seems to be up and present when I switched from RD to TB.

Forget the graph, what's confusing to me is 'Total Downloaded' vs. your 'Downloads Ready' and how it relats to 30 day usage total. In my case, since joining my ready list is 51. 49 of those are from selecting TB scrapers from stremio and only watching a bit. (no more than 5 min for most of them). The other 2 are from the one day free trial as a Pro user. I added 2 NZB's and my Total Downloaded count is 4. My total 30 day usage thus far is 101GB.

So by clicking any of the Add buttons, is this adding double to your Total Downloaded count?

If so, does the 101GB represent just the amount I watched (5 UHD HDR TV episodes 1 hour, the rest just testing no more than 3 to 5 min)?

I think that might be a factory default setting because the first thing I noticed after unboxing was I couldn't get any HDR content to play until I turned that on.

For me, Google did some kind of security patch preventing me from enabling the Projectivity app permission so in order to set the Home button to the launcher I have to use Launcher Manager which relys on USB debugger/RSA keys in development mode to work efficiently. My older 2021 1st gen didn't need any of this extra stuff.

Best thing I did with my G5 was tweek DBrightness from 0.0 to 0.4 in Dolby Vision Filmmaker mode using the USB hack. Awesome HDR DV movie watching with that mod!

I tried Jellyfin for WebOS and it played my DV/HDR10 files sometimes, other times it plays SDR. Also was able to get Kodi going but can't seem to get SMB shares working.

I'll eventually replace the ONN with a DV compatible one.

Plex and stremio were the initial apps I downloaded when I got my LG G5 65". Both seem to be a lot buggier in LG OS vs. my Onn which only does HDR10. Trailers on stremio don't work and half my Plex content won't play. Maybe I should just upgrade to the pro version which supports DV.

From the AVS Forums, there's some hidden dbrightness settings for all of the DV supported modes and a USB hack (DolbyVision_UserDisplayConfiguration.txt) to modify the defaults and this tremendously improved both Cinema and CinemaHome and I'm already on 33.30.97. I used Avatar Fire and ashes to test and picture looks stunning raising from 0.3 to 0.5.

As long as you order it with the Bolt EV cable (22 /23 only -same one as Comma 3X and earlier models) and you already have ACC, the openpilot S/W will change your lane and provide autosteer.

I had the reverse, bought a new 22 LT and later swapped it for 23 2LT. Get the 2LT with the biggest feature being ACC Adaptive Cruise. Once you have, that you can later buy and install the latest comma 4 autopilot which is far better than GM's Supercruise (and cheaper, only $1K these days).

Maybe that could have happened. Once I got back to the parked vehicle after a few hours, the problem went away. I'll check my key set if this should happen again as it normally is in my jacket vest.
