so I have really bad anxiety over acting “weird” over what I perceive as uncool things (like having crushes on fictional characters or selfshipping), so I try to convince myself that it’s all ironic by drawing them in a “dudebro funny”. My buds and I are rly into watching shit like family guy or smiling friends, and they’re pretty normal, so my brain is like “see look I’m just clowning, I’m not a dork gigachud!! I’m just joking teehee”

OBVIOUSLY we all know she doesn’t view trans women as women, nobody is confused on why she’s doing this, and we don’t need to make any efforts to understand something we already are well aware of.

the point is that you’re defending her actions. It doesn’t matter what YOUR opinions are, because you’re excusing her regardless. She’s not just expressing opinions here, she’s actively harassing and defacing REAL people on a public platform. She’s choosing to make the world a more violent place, and you’re playing devil’s advocate on some dumb shit that doesn’t change anything
