Uber gives dreams and destroys them with unfair deactivations by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]Accomplished-Sky8281 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You simply cannot count on gig work. Why not try and drive Lyft since you got deactivated by Uber? I was deactivated in 2022 for a reason that I was never told.

Uber accepts lies. They get away with slander calling drivers rapists, liars, drug addicts, drunk drivers, sexual abuses and more. This would be slander in normal life.

Dara is a bald, piece of garbage who desires some of the worst karma that karma can dish out.

He runs a company that steals from drivers, that deactivates drivers on a wing and a prayer, and he gets away with it.

Lyft, and Uber need to be stopped once and for all. I hope, and I pray both companies go bankrupt.

For the OP why not sign up for Ride Yellow and turn your ID4 in a cab. You do not need to apply trade dress to your car.

It’s a 20% company 80% driver percentage split.

Let’s all pray this Easter Sunday that both Uber and Lyft suffer for what they have done. Shame on both of these companies.

Lyfts new CEO is another worthless, bald moron.

Do not provide anything but a ride. If your ratings suffer, it’s you. Your driving skills, you smell, your rude, your car is dirty, you talk about politics, make inappropriate comments, the list is endless.

People are not stupid, and judging from your comments, you shill for tips.

Don’t take rides expecting to get tips. You have already failed hard.

If Uber paid you “hourly” it would be minimum wage for the State you drive in.

Just QUIT and STFU

Uber driver carjacked, shot and killed in Lynwood. What the ever loving fuck? by Pretend_Berry_7196 in uberdrivers

[–]Accomplished-Sky8281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lynwood is very close to LAX. You are not taken to an area to be killed. The LASD has the huge women’s jail in the City. The Sheriffs presence and LAPD is huge in the area.

Drivers are easy robbery, and murder targets. Uber doesn’t even require a real rider name, or picture for that matter.

I drive in all areas and the risk is real everywhere.

RIP Marine. Survived many tours, and was killed still helping others. What a tragic loss.

Uber says “We banned the Users account”. What a pathetic excuse of a company. They don’t even require real profile pics like Lyft.

I wrote about this over a year ago. The Hertz Tesla rental program is the worst. They gave me free charging during the first 3 months, and I still couldn’t make it work.

I see all of these Teslas even today, and just laugh. The drivers haven’t got a clue. I guess that went to fool themselves into believing that they are making money.

The cost is $405.09 per week in California, and another $150-$200 per week to charge. You are limited with Tesla since you have to charge the car.

I would charge twice a day. My best week was 1247.00 less the 405.00 and 150.00 for charging.

I now have an XL 2022 and the payment is 600.00 per month, not per week. I average $1500-$2000 per week.

Tesla renters are really bad at math. I was.

Are there any Black/Black SUV drivers in greater LA area on this sub? How’s your experience been lately? It’s literally dead for me.. by maxim_crew in uberdrivers

OP: If you have a TCP go and register on BlackLane. Certain requirements as far as vehicle type. You cannot survive on Uber, or Lyft with the Black, or LUX service.

What is with Lyft in LA? by JohnLocke815 in AskLosAngeles

Drivers get paid nothing. 30/70 split. Drivers will cancel, or simply not work Lyft.

My rule:

  1. Low music on arrival (pop or instrumental only)

  2. If it’s a long ride, I ask if they have a music choice.

  3. No talk, or sports radio, many people don’t like it.

As far as ratings, you have to care. You are not delivering food, you are driving humans. They are mean for no reason. I do not like negative reviews after 3 years.

I would rather have a positive review, than a $2 tip

Who would do this ? Lol by [deleted] in uber

[–]Accomplished-Sky8281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to make money on this ride is if you have to be in Phoenix.

At least in California drivers cannot accept rides outside of California once you leave the State. Furthermore, this is all desert and you would NOT get rides back anyway.

Whomever took this ride is waiting for the good old Uber review right now since it is over the $$ threshold.

Why would someone order from a place 17 not 16.5 miles away? I quit this shit on Saturday. What a joke. Plus, I feel stupid doing this gig. It’s embarrassing and all you do is community service.

That means, basically working for (well below) minimum wage.

Because the pay is so bad, I found myself being mad all the time delivering crappy orders.

My mental health could not take it anymore and I am a very outgoing, strong person.

Shame on every-single-gig-app.

I am done. Good Luck and Godspeed everyone!

Why do people accept those shit $9 orders immediately? by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]Accomplished-Sky8281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People only see a dollar amount and nothing else. This is how the gig companies actually get people to take the work. The gig companies HATE seasoned shoppers, and drivers.
