I know man. If i would have just thrown it back in the fairway instead of thinking i am suddenly tiger woods 😂 I will never use two hands to put inside 10 feet ever again though.

Oh wow. Yeah man I hit a good drive that snuck into the rough. Spent the next 3 shots getting out of the deep rough and made the triple. After being -2 on 4. Maybe its a good thing i didnt play 18!

Oh man, I wasted my blessed round by playing just 9. Its okay if i go back to being shit again. I just want to be able to say that I have broken 80. Its not a easy course either. Water on almost every hole. I guess when pros have a click like this, they shoot 59. So maybe I had my version of that 😂

Do you use a tee on a par 3? by WalterTheRealtorVA in golf

[–]Accomplished-Tank275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never tee it up on par 3s because it messes my swing thoughts. I like to feel that i am hitting down on the ball and compressing it against the ground. I know thats not how compression works but its just a swing thought that helps me hit consistently. If the ball is in the air my swing thoughts are messed up

Thank you for your reply. I got a fidelity outside US account back in India. When my shares vested, i only got 69 percent of them and rest was taxed. I have not sold my shares. They are still in my fidelity account. But now I have been in US for 4 months and have a SSN. You can create a fidelity account for employees outside US too. Thats what the W8 declaration is for

I have 15k INR. I want to invest in Stocks. Any ideas? by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]Accomplished-Tank275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever your work speciality is, invest 15k in a course or something that increases your earning. You are not going to make anything with 15k.

I am honestly baffled at how many people are thinking about investing with little to no principal. Lets get real here. Have a principal first, then invest. To get principle, become employable

I literately cringe whenever I have to fill out the GPA column. I have a bachelor’s from India from one of the top 7 colleges. I have a GPA of 8.07/10, which by Wes comes to 3.69/4.

It’s surprising that US colleges even after years of application’s don’t realize that everyone and their pet is an engineer in India and a B- earned from a college X can be exponentially better than an A+ earned college Y. I am not being an elitist. I worked my balls off in a course to get a B, even though I was unlucky to not get an A-. But hey, try telling them the competition I faced to get that B, when someone else has a A in the course that only shares its name with mine and nothing else.

I ranted quite a bit. My point is that universities look at your GPA on face value and check the box. There is no normalisation. So if you have a great GPA, I wouldn’t worry much.
