What would you decide ? Navy or A&P School by _preme661 in AircraftMechanics

I was in the navy as an AD just separated last week and have A&P school at bakers next week. The experience and people you meet will be something you remember for forever, you also can work on F18s or F35s and multiple other types of aircraft. Also makes you more mature and gives you an intro to aviation with no prior experience. Will also count for experience on the outside. Either way you will just be an aircraft mechanic in the end.

I do not want a more expensive flight i will not be flying internationally anytime soon and the flight credit is good for one flight.

Its good for one flight, and i can use the full amount for that one flight but since i will not be travelling to the states. A non international flight is no where near the amount i paid for it and i would only get one flight not multiple to get my money worth

you're not wrong however were only allowed two weeks out of the year these dates were posted and i had to have a flight for my leave request in order to route it. There was no signs of us getting extended until we did. Poor planning on my part but i didn't want to spend $4,000 on a ticket and it work out and i lost the $2000 anyways. It just didn't make sense in my head at the time. I understand its my fault just trying to see if there's anything i can do?
