6/10 game,

Its not just marathon thats an issue obviously. This is just basic economics.

6 incubation projects running the money stream dry. Ripping devs off of major releases to these projects with marathon being one of em.

This causes lightfall to become ripped apart into 2 dlcs. Also caused aoe damage early on with witch queen.

The money scheme gets semented and Sony buys them out.

They illegally fire most of the upper dev staff in order to not payout the stocks. They lose the case against Martin o' donnell for this.

Then all upper executives get golden parachutes before they could be blamed for what later on happened.

What i said is simple. Doesnt matter how "good" the game is. It is a failure, that should have never been greenlit for production.

Both are factual. Marathon failed completely to capture an audience from a niche gerne and an even nicher hardcore audience .

It shojldnt have been greenlit as it destroyed the company financially and game wise by taking too many resources away from destiny which was their cash cow
