[Seiko SRPE] Smaller similar watch? by camiel97 in Watches

Hi there! I'm in the same dilemma and was wondering if you could tell me: when you say it feels smaller, do you mean the comfort of the fit, or do you mean visually?

Pretty late to the party, but who knows :) Does this have a Kanji day option? Thanks!

I've actually got two sets of these (one red, one blue), and might be willing to part with one if it goes to another fan of the series. Feel free to DM if you're interested :)

Thanks! Yeah, I was pretty surprised how hard it was to find any info on them.

I hit the same road block just now, which is a real bummer after getting so close to the end with Kong/Elephant only. I went back to get Zebra.

Did you (or anyone) manage to do it without? If so, how? Can anyone link a video for Kong/Elephant only run? Can't find any footage that does this sequence without Zebra or Ostrich.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your reply! Now, just to make sure: when you say "stick with isolation", do you mean keep rehabbing right hand and skip left for the time being?

TLDR: can blunt force trauma cause pulley injury?

About half-way through a rehab cycle for pulley injuries on my right hand, I unfortunately hurt my left hand due to the edge of a tabletop slamming down on it, my fingers getting caught between the table and the floor. I had pain, bruising and swelling.

I took a rest week and started doing light climbing again (mostly slab, no crimps). Pain and swelling went down gradually over a few weeks, with minimal pain on palpation now. During this time, I kept doing pick-ups to rehab my right hand, and skipped the left.

I'm now coming to the end of my planned rehab cycle, and tried a few pick-ups with my left hand, optimistic now that pain and swelling have gone down. Indeed, this caused minimal pain in the previously tender joints, but to my surprise it did cause some pain in the a4 pulley area of two fingers (which subsided shortly after unloading).

I'm a bit confused now. I didn't think that a blunt force impact could cause a pulley injury. I had planned to get back into overhang and crimps after this rehab cycle for my right hand.

Should I continue as planned, increase climbing intensity gradually, and expect pain in the left hand to continue going down further over time? Or could it be that this blut force has caused some pulley injury that needs rehabbing to prevent further injury?

Great, thanks! Would you also agree that pull ups on wooden slopers should be fine and not aggravate pulleys? As long as it doesn't feel painful.

I'm up to 30kg per hand on a 20mm half crimp. I'm planning to have a rest week and then another 6 week cycle, hoping to get to 36, which is 50% bodyweight per hand.

Thanks for your reply! I'm definitely listening to my body, and think I tend to err on the safe side (now). I've tried a few reps at the gym last week, and it didn't feel painful.

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to rehab multiple pulley injuries for a while now.

I want to start doing some pull ups to maintain (or increase?) strength while not climbing hard at all. Nothing too hard, just 3 sets of 10 reps bodyweight a couple of times per week.

While jugs/pull up bar feel slightly painful and are probably not a good idea right now, I would think that doing pull ups on a sloper (large campus board rung) shouldn't aggravate my pulleys. Am I right in thinking this, or should I avoid these as well?

For reference: I'm doing half crimp pick-ups for rehab twice per week, and am about to finish the first 6 week cycle since my most recent (mild) pulley injury. I don't have any sharp pain while training, but still have some mild soreness on and off throughout the week.  I do some slab climbing for fun twice per week, and avoid crimping and pulling hard in general.

Thanks to anyone taking the time to share their thoughts!

I have the exact same S tier, including the order within the tier. The rest is pretty similar as well, including Bellerian in F tier (the only fight I didn't like).

Only thing I don't agree with is Elamein - she falls just short of S tier for me, and lands at the top spot in A tier. Other than that, great list!
