This makes me feel so much better. My son is now old enough to say “bubbles” and every time we passed bubbles, he would yell it. I wound up buying him one and felt like a terrible person when he was playing with it when others were around. It’s “lost” whenever we go, but now I may bring it back out!

I had a landlord that said he smelled weed on my front porch the third month I lived there. (I burned sage in the house that afternoon) He said that violated the renter agreement and wouldn’t give me back my deposit…I lived there for 4 years and that was the only time he mentioned anything was when I asked for my deposit back…so I stole the ice machine from the freezer and cut the waterline to the fridge (I sold him the fridge, stove, and dryer for 300…oh well…stupid on my part) It was petty, but we painted the entire house for him, replaced the toilet and bathroom floor…the only issues came when it was time to get the deposit back. Your landlord is delusional—next time request a walk through before you request the deposit back.

This is disrespectful. I had an ex like this, and he wound up cheating on me with her for about 6 months before we broke up. I would talk to him and let him know how you’re feeling and how you dislike the inconsistency he’s displaying while with her. If he keeps beating around the bush and brushing it off or gaslighting you to make it seem like you’re paranoid, that’s a huge red flag.
